In late 1964, when I was still 7, this building was being used as a store room for Northover & Sons (the furniture side of the business I assume rather than the funeral side). We lived in the flat on the top floor of the building. It was accessible by an external iron stairs at the end of the building slightly up Howard Rd but that that can't be seen in this photo |
