For years I have desperately wanted to see a picture of my Grans cafe as it was in her day and finally I can see half of the sign - its the closest I have ever got to seeing anything of it. It was Perkins restuarant at 4 London Road. Comment 2

This must be Nellie Perkins married to Arthur, a cousin of my grandad Ernest Thomas, who was born at the Skimmington Castle in 1884. So, Jean, we are relations of some kind!! |
